Nonprofit board members enrich and govern an organization with their personal expertise, connections, and passion for the cause . We support organizations in diagnosing their boards’ needs through training, one-on-one consulting, and coaching, equipping their members with the right information and resources.

Skills development

Skills Bootcamp

We provide tailored, practical and hands-on learning courses to quickly prepare and improve participants skills for the workplace.

YFL Skills Bootcamps provide participants with skills in specific areas enabling them to learn new skills, fast track them into new jobs, or boost their career progression with current employers or in their businesses. ,

Our curriculum is carefully crafted to teach the most relevant and in-demand skills, often aligning with industry trends and requirements. They provide hands-on exercises, team collaborations, and mentorship to facilitate a comprehensive learning experience.

They cover a wide range of subjects, including Computing & Information Technology, Building & Construction, Health & Social Care, Agriculture & Environment, Education & Development, and more.

Tackling GBV - DV, FGM

The conservancy is deeply committed to eradicating Gender-Based Violence (GBV), including efforts to eliminate practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and address issues related to Domestic Violence (DV) through community-based interventions. Efforts have been made to raise awareness about the negative effects and encourage abandonment of the practice.

Environmental Action

Enhancing youth employment and active participation through agribusiness and environmental actions is a vital part of sustainable environment and ecological restoration.

Since 2018, YFL has been actively involved in supporting local youths and communities in establishing agribusiness operations.

In 2023, we committed to planting 5 trees for every course completed and a certificate issued, as a means of ensuring a sustainable environment through Agribusiness, Nurseries and Tree planting.

Digital Inclusion

Providing youths with opportunities to engage in the digital economy and pursue safe and fair digitally-enabled livelihoods.

YFL works in partnerships with youth groups, schools, churches, community based organisations, and other stakeholders in providing digital media training and resources.

This helps the youths to gain knowhow and capabilities to access employment and participate in other economically productive ventures.

STEM Courses

STEM stands for Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics. It represents the group of subjects that fall within these four areas of study. STEM education focuses on practical learning, to develop the necessary skills in students so they’re prepared for the rapidly-developing real world.
